Thomas Repicky received his undergraduate degree at John Carroll University in 1975 and his Juris Doctor from Cleveland Marshall College of Law in 1978.

During his 36 years as a lawyer he has practiced as a civil trial lawyer and since 1998 also as a private mediator. His litigation practice included medical negligence, product liability, tort, insurance, employment and commercial cases. Tom has tried over fifty substantial cases during his legal career in these areas. He has been certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy as a Civil Trial Specialist from 1991 to 2011. He is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell and is also recognized by Martindale Hubbell as a Preeminent Lawyer. He has been selected as a Best Lawyer in America and Ohio Super Lawyer ADR Specialty for the last eight years.

Tom has privately mediated over 1000 cases since he began mediating in 1998. He is mediator qualified in numerous court and private organizations and has mediated civil lawsuits for most of the major law firms in the Cleveland/Akron area. He regularly lectures on mediation topics to various bar and trial organizations as well as Kent State University.

Tom is former chairman of the ADR Committee of the Cleveland Bar Association and continues to participate on the ADR Committee. Tom has also written numerous articles on mediation related topics for the Cleveland Bar Journal. These articles are available on this website.

In 2014, Mr. Repicky was confirmed to the Ohio Chapter of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals, in recognition of his reputation for excellence in the practice of alternative dispute resolution.
